Casa Ferreirinha Vinha Grande is a great white wine from the Douro. It features an intense and complex aroma alongside floral fragrances, white fruits flavours such as pear and melon and a smooth tropical fruit aroma. Casa Ferreirinha Vinha Grande is a white wine produced from traditional grape varieties of the Douro region as Viosinho, Códega, Arinto and Gouveio. After a prolonged maceration the fermentation occurs at a controlled temperature in oak barrels with fine lees, and the wine is subjected to a smooth stirring. It stays for 3 months in oak barrels prior light filtration, and the bottling. The wine has a short period of maturated in the bottle.
