Conceito by Barbeito white Port is a brand new approach for the white Port by Rita Marque and Ricardo Freitas (the winemaker of Barbeito from the Madeira Wines). It's a wine without contact in the wood, that comes from the blend of regional white grapes coming in at 126 grams per liter of residual sugar. The grapes are foot trodden, after fortification (the adding process of brandy), the wine spends 8 months in stainless steel tanks, being bottled in spring, with the aim to capture the freshness and liveliness of the wine.
Conceito by Barbeito white Port is fragrant, opulent, rich, seductive and so fresh. It's packed with fresh fruits and it has so much concentration that is balanced by a wonderful acidity.
