Deep garnet color. It is a floral wine, concentrated, sweet and with lots of black fruit, like burgundy cherries and ripe blackberries. It has beautiful tannins, firm and present in all its extension. The acidity is very well balanced with the fruit accompanied by a provocative spice.
Winemaking:
Vintage Port Wines are bottled in cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia after the second year of aging in French oak wood. Produced according to the traditional method of foot treading in classic stone called "lagares". A Vintage Port is only declared in years of exceptional quality.
