1997 Niepoort Vintage Port is an extraordinary's Vintage Port wine, solid, robust and full of macerated ripe black fruit flavours coming from its core. It finishes in a fine acidity, a layer of dry and woody tannins and extraordinary notes of dark chocolate.
Winemaking:
1997 Niepoort Vintage Port is produced by the traditional Port wine method, grapes are trodden in granitic stone's Lagares, and it's aged for 2 years, in French oak wood hulls before being transferred to the bottle.
Grape Varieties:
Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinto Cão, Sousão, Tinta Roriz.
Tasting Notes:
Niepoort Vintage Porto 1997 features juicy and fruity tannins, full of density and intensity, dry profile, and notes of cassis and dark chocolate. Features opulent style with robust dark fruits flavours and fine acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in the upright position ± 15 ° C at a constant temperature. Serve at a temperature between 12-14ºC.
