1992 Niepoort Vintage Port is a rich, fruity, dry-profile Vintage Port wine. It features a delicate, elegant bouquet, wild berry aromas, dark chocolate and spice notes, blackberry flavors and cranberries balanced by layers of acidity and sweet tannins.
Winemaking:
1992 Niepoort Vintage Port is produced by the traditional Port wine method, grapes are trodden in granitic stone's Lagares, and it's aged for 2 years, in French oak wood hulls before being transferred to the bottle.
Grape Varieties:
Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinto Cão, Sousão, Tinta Roriz.
Tasting Notes:
1992 Niepoort Vintage Port is an extraordinarily rich Vintage Port wine with intense black fruit aromas, with good evolution of the reduction, balance and fantastic notes of licorice which cames from its core. Note the ripe fruits, with the predominance of wild fruit flavors with incidence on blackberries and berries. Finishes with very soft tannins, moderate sweetness and subtly dry.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in the upright position ± 15 ° C at a constant temperature. Serve at a temperature between 12-14ºC.
