Barros Reserve Ruby is an elegant, delicate Port wine that presents extraordinary evolutionary notes. It displays a delicate aromatic bouquet, presenting delicate floral notes together with delicious aromas of black confit fruits and notes of red fruit compote, vanilla, cinnamon and very elegant acidity.
Winemaking:
Barros Reserve Ruby is a Port wine produced with autochthonous red grapes of Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional, and Tinta Barroca from the Douro wine region. The wine was produced by the classical Porto wine method were the grapes that were foot trodden in granitic Lagares and the fermentation took place at controlled temperature with a pre-maceration. When the wort was reached the desired sweetness value, the fermentation was interrupted by the addition of brandy, and then the wine was aged in French oak barrels until bottled for an average period of 4 years.

Tasting Notes:
Barros Reserve Ruby is a Port wine marked by intense notes of ripe black, sweet and balsamic fruits and nuances of wild red fruits. It is a very elegant Port wine, with vanilla notes, dark chocolate, delicate floral aromas and subtle acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Serve temperature 8-10°C.
