Vertente is a fresh, elegant and with a strong mineral character red wine from the Douro wine region. Of strong berry fruit aromas predominance, it spreads mineral notes in its core, spices notes, vanilla hints, and great acidity.
Winemaking:
Vertente is a red wine produced from autochthones field blend red grape varieties from the Douro Region, predominantly of Touriga Franca, and Tinta Roriz. After grapes fully de-stemmed the musts were submitted to a long maceration the fermentation in granitic stone tanks took place at a controlled temperature. The wine was then transferred to French oak barrels where it has stayed in contact with fine lees for 18 months, prior to being bottled.

Vertente is an elegant and mineral, red wine from the Douro wine Region that shows a strong aroma of wild red fruits such as red berries, raspberries, and redcurrants. It's a red wine who highlights all its minerality with notes of moist soil, granite and graffiti, along with elegant and juicy tannins, a wild fruit bouquet and fantastic acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store at a temperature of 18 ° C. Serve at a temperature between 16°C à 18°C.
