Quinta do Vesuvio is a intense and very tanic red wine from the Douro region. It is rich in ripe black fruit aromas, fragrances of wild berries, ripe cherries and delicious scents of raspberries. It features a concentrated structure, juicy fruits, with a mineral character and a wonderful acidity.

Winemaking:
Quinta do Vesuvio is a red wine produced from red grape varieties of Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional and Tinta Amarela from the Douro Region. After a double and careful selection of the grapes (by bunch and by berry) the must are submitted to a long maceration. The fermentation occurred in stainless steel tanks, at a controlled temperature. The wine was then transferred to new French oak barrels where it has stayed in contact with fine lees for 18 months, prior to being bottled.

Quinta do Vesuvio is a delicious red wine, with an opulent body and a rich structure. It shows a mineral and tannic character, together with subtle notes of wood which makes this red wine a powerful and exquisite wine. Of powerful ripe black fruit aromas, it combines balsamic notes with exotic spices, dark chocolate, and perfect and balanced acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store at a temperature of 18 ° C. Serve at a temperature between 16°C à 18°C.
