Quinta do Côtto Vinha do Dote is a structured, complex and powerful red wine from the Douro wine region, that comes from red grapes of a portion of Quinta do Côtto from old vines over 80 years old. It is a red wine of closed and imposing tannins, full of freshness, with lots of ripe red fruit aromas and great acidity.
Winemaking:
Quinta do Côtto Vinha do Dote is a red wine, produced from red grapes of old vines from the Quinta do Côtto in the Douro region, of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Sousão, Tinto Cão, and Tinta Roriz. After a long maceration of 10 days, the wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures for further 10 days. The wine has staged in French oak barrels, for 15 months, in contact of fine lees where it has been subjected to a regular stirring, prior to being bottled.

Quinta do Côtto Vinha do Dote is a robust, compact, dense and rich red wine. Filled with aromas of ripe red fruits, it features delicious notes of vanilla, spice, powerful tannins and impressive notes of freshness and minerality, where it highlights the harmony between the balsamic notes, the richness of the ripe red fruit aromas and their great acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 16ºC-18ºC.
