After the natural maturation of the grape varieties, the Aragonêz and Trincadeira varieties were carefully selected, harvested and transported to the Cellar where the total destemming and a slight crushing were processed. The fermentation occurred in French oak vats with control temperature of 26ºC. A prolonged maceration followed, the musts rested along with the stalks and the grape's skins for 15 days. There followed an eighteen-month stage in French oak barrels, followed by a 24-month bottle stage in the Cartuxa Convent cellars before being launch into the market.

This wine can be stored for more than 10 years in a bottle.
Store and Serve Advice:
Protect at a stable temperature of 18 ° C. Serve at a temperature between 16ºC and 18ºC.
Montes Claros Garrafeira is a red wine with great complexity of flavors where notes of red fruits, coffee, chocolate and spices stand out. It has an elegant and structured body, with notes of spice and toast and also present but balanced tannins. The ending is long and persistent.
Casa da Passarella A Descoberta is an extraordinarily elegant, fruity, juicy and mineral red wine from the Dão region. It is a wine of matured and imposing tannins, with a perfect balance with the intense and dominant notes of well mature red fruits, and an intense freshness. In the mouth it is silky and of medium body presenting a very balanced acidity.
Valle Pradinhos Reserva has a deep red colour. It has a splendorous nose, it's rich, complex with ripe red and black wild fruits, with some elegant floral notes and a touch of vanilla and spices. It's full-bodied with some fine and silky tannins interlaced by a firm fruit structure. It has a long and persistent ending.
Quinta do Pessegueiro is a wonderful and complex red wine from the Douro Region, marked by mineral notes such as moist soil and rock under wonderful aromas of ripe red fruits alongside a remarkable acidity.
Poeira Decade 10 years is an opulent red wine, which presents a serious aromatic expression, closed bouquet and robust concentration. It is a very elegant red wine with well-pronounced ripe red fruit aromas, floral notes and smooth and balanced balsamic aromas. It is a mineral red wine, fresh with imposing tannins and very well balanced acidity.
Antónia Adelaide Ferreira is a red wine of excellent complexity and intensity. On the nose, it is a very expressive wine, where floral notes, red fruits, and spices predominate. In the mouth, it presents live tannins of excellent quality, with good acidity and a finish of great balance and longevity.
