Winemaking:
Quinta de Ervamoira and Quinta dos Bons Ares provided the grapes for the production of this red wine. The grapes were harvested manually from carefully selected vines. The vinification took place in small stainless steel tanks and in granite presses. One month later, the wine was removed from the vats and the grape mass was pressed into a vertical wine dish. The malolactic fermentation took place in barrels (including new barrels and one of filling) and barrels of 6200 litres, both of French oak. Ageing in wood for 18 months.

Store and Serve Advice:
Storage Lying down at a temperature of 15°C. Serve at a temperature of 16°C to 18ºC.
Bastardo is a red wine from the Conceito brand and it has an extraordinary amount of fruity aromas such as black plums, ripe cherries, herbs, and fresh leaves, among others. It reveals a live acidity with solid, but rounded, tannins and long ending.
Cortes de Cima Amphora is a wonderful red wine from the Alentejo fermented in amphoras of pure clay, (traditional clay vessels not coated with varnish). It features fantastic aromas of ripe red fruit with earthy notes offering depth and complexity. It has juicy and round tannins, and it has a long and fresh finish.
Julian Reynolds Grande Reserva is a robust, deeply dense red wine that features an intensely aromatic and complex bouquet from the Alentejo Region. Featuring a dark red colour, it's characterized by an intense and markedly juicy core, filled by full of aromas of wild black fruits, austere and imposing tannins, and very poised acidity.
Fagote Grande Reserva Vinhas Velhas is a red wine of great aromatic concentration and of tannic structure from the Douro region. It presents a complex and comprehensive bouquet, predominating deep mineral notes such as humid earth, graphite and granitic stone along with extraordinary aromas of ripe black fruits and polished and very incisive acidity.
Duorum Reserva Vinhas Velhas is rich, dense, and a full-bodied red wine. Its aromas are dominated by very ripe black fruits as blackberries and cassis. It has a great aromatic complexity that will increase with time. it has well-balanced acidity with firm and ripe tannins showing a long and persistent ending.
Clear aspect and ruby colour with red nuances. The aroma is fine and elegant with notes of black fruits, jam and white chocolate. The flavour is soft, with a slight astringency, and balanced. Tannins are fruity, soft and structured. Elegant finish.
