Antónia Adelaide Ferreira is a red wine produced from red grapes of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Vinhas Velhas and Sousão from the Douro region. After a gentle crushing and total destemming, the grapes fermented in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature. After this process, the wine remains in French oak barrels for 24 months. The final blend was prepared based on a very accurate selection, after numerous tastings that confirm the excellence of the wines and their maturation.

Tasting Notes:
Antónia Adelaide Ferreira is a red wine of enormous complexity and elegance from the Douro Region. On the nose, the notes of chocolate, red fruits, pepper, cloves, and discreet but well-integrated wood stand out. In the mouth it is voluminous, with complex tannins, involving acidity and a long and balanced finish.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store at a temperature of 18 ° C. Serve at a temperature between 16°C à 18°C.
Herdade do Peso Ícone is a very complex and aromatic red wine, with notes of black fruit, blackberry, tobacco leaves, and menthol. It has an excellent structure, present but silky tannins, and remarkable acidity. The ending is very long and complex.
Messias Douro Vinha Santa Barbara shows a deep purple colour. It's rich, closed with austere fruit, and some floral touches. It's powerful but round, it has ripe tannins, without excesses, bitter cocoa and mineral notes on the long, juicy ending.
Dense ruby color. Intense aroma with the presence of fruits like plum, well integrated with notes of vanilla and spices. A velvety body, with well-present fruit, in a wine with a balanced volume and acidity. Fresh and persistent finish.
Quinta da Gaivosa shows a deep ruby color. It reveals intense aromas of forest fruits, eucalyptus leaf, pine, and dry prunes. It has a solid body, with great structure and balance. It is a very elegant red wine of great complexity.
Borges Reserva is a vigorous and complex red wine from the Douro wine region. It presents an intense and clear ruby color, showing richness in aromas of wild red fruits, and richness in aromatic concentration. With lush and juicy tannins, it presents mineral notes and extraordinary acidity.
Farrapo Vinho de Talha is a red wine made in clay amphoras, which expresses a complex and exuberant aromatic bouquet showing notes of ripe red fruits along with earthy notes, iodine nuances and balsamic flavours of cloves and vanilla. It is a red wine with polished and vigorous tannins, extraordinary aromatic elegance and acidity.
