By placing your order you have represented to PortugalGetWine.com that you are at least 21. All alcoholic beverages that we ship on your behalf must be received and signed for by an adult of legal drinking age. When your wine is delivered, the person accepting delivery may be required to show identification.
We ship the wines from 1 to 36 bottles. Contact us to order more than 36.
Once an order has been placed, it can not be cancelled or modified. This includes altering shipping or billing addresses, payment information, and adding or deleting items from your order. Be sure to review all details of the order, including shipping options at the time of payment, before submitting your order. The sales tax will be invoiced for all applicable orders in accordance with the guidelines of Portugal.
Our deliveries will be processed by UPS. Please note that all shipping times are calculated based on the delivery date and that standard working days exclude weekends. Shipping charges are calculated at time of payment based on your shipping destination:
Europe (1-5 working days).
Outside Europe (contact us to get an estimated delivery time).
Our deliveries will be processed by UPS. We reserve the right to make partial deliveries without incurring any additional costs. If you want a partial delivery, we treat each partial delivery as a separate order. When ordering you will be informed of the delivery cost to your address/country during the checkout process. If you can’t find your country in the drop box during the checkout process it’s because we don’t deliver to your country. You can contact us by email and we can propose to you a quote for the delivery if we have any form of guarantying the successful delivery of your order. For corporate orders please use our contact form or email to put your order and we will provide you with our best price for the order and the lowest shipment costs. The goods you order will be delivered to the address you give when you place your order. When placing your order you may wish to contact us with instructions for delivery alternatives in case you are not in. All parcels must be signed for on delivery by a person over the legal age for alcohol consumption. If there is no one at the address who is competent to accept delivery of the goods, the recipient will either be notified of an alternative delivery day or be asked to contact the courier to arrange re-delivery. If multiple delivery attempts are made to the provided delivery address and a competent recipient is not present to sign for the goods, or no effort is taken by the recipient to contact the courier to arrange re-delivery, the order will be returned to our warehouse. In this instance, a delivery surcharge may need to be paid by the customer in order for the goods to be re-delivered. The Company will contact you and provide you with a quote. Every effort will be made to deliver the goods to you within 3 working days however, in rare cases, this may be as long as 10 working days. A working day is any day other than weekends and Bank or other public holidays. The Company will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through any delay in delivery. You will become the owner of the goods you ordered and responsible for the risk of loss or damage to them once they have been delivered to you.
We take pride in packing your order to ensure that it arrives in perfect condition. Unfortunately, there are times when parcels incur damage while in transit. If a parcel shows clear signs of damage or leakage at the time of delivery we ask that you refuse the parcel. Just ask that the courier returns the consignment to sender.
In the very unlikely event of any damage please contact our Customer Care Team and include as much information as possible. We also require photographs of any damage including all the packaging for insurance purposes.
1. Photographs showing the detail of the damage or faulty items. We also need a picture that clearly shows the seal intact on the damaged or broken bottle.
2. Please retain the product, box and all packaging until instructed by us.
We want you to be one hundred per cent happy with your order and it is our aim to ensure that all products supplied to all customers arrive in perfect condition. You have the right to return your order without being charged for the goods ordered.
If you have received your order and are unhappy with any of the products ordered we will happily refund your money or exchange the products provided that you inform us of your intention to return the products within 7 working days from the date of your order being delivered. However, we will only reimburse the cost of returning items where they were delivered in error or the items were damaged.
Any products must be returned to us in good condition and in the original packaging. All refunds will be paid within 30 days of the date that you notified us of your intention to return the product(s).
PortugalGetWine.com will be happy to exchange any wines purchased which are corked, tainted or out of condition. We do require the bottle and cork returned to us before we can exchange. The returns will be subject to return carriage fees, which are the responsibility of the person sending back the wines. You are responsible for the cost of returning products to us unless the items being returned were delivered in error or the items were damaged or defective. You are also responsible for insuring all returns as we might claim against you should damages be sustained.
