Maynards Colheita Tawny 2004 Port is a Port wine that stands out for the elegance and softness of its aromatic bouquet. It is a mature and complex port wine. It has a density and body full of notes to caramelized fruits such as raisins, dried apricots and roasted pear. It features very soft finish with a citric acidity.
Winemaking:
Maynards Colheita Tawny 2004 Port was produced by the traditional Porto wine method. This is a wine of exceptional quality, from a single harvest. It maturated in wood, for over 10 years, although, Colheitas Port wine never are less than 7 years of ageing in wood casks.
Grape Varieties:
Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Sousão, Tinta Amarela, Tinto Cão.
Tasting Notes:
Maynards Colheita Tawny 2004 Port is an intense and rich Port wine featuring a very elegant aromatic bouquet. It presents remarkable aromas of evolution, especially the flavours of raisins, dried apricots, roasted fruit along with vanilla and lemongrass hues. Long finish accompanied by citrus notes and very balanced acidity.

Serving temperature at 10ºC-12ºC.
