Colheita Port 1976 Real Companhia Velha shows a gold colour with reddish tones. It's a really mature wine with a solid structure that brings its dry character along with its dense and mature flavours. it has a spicy fruit concentration interwoven into the old wood flavours.
Winemaking:
Colheita Port 1976 Real Companhia Velha was produced by the traditional Porto wine method. This is a wine of an exceptional quality, rare, from a single harvest. It maturated in wood, for over 40 years, although, Colheitas Port wine never are less than 7 years of ageing on wood casks.
Grape Varieties:
Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca.
Tasting Notes:
Colheita Porto Real Companhia Velha 1976 went through years ageing in old oak barrels and acquired a genuine and distinct wood aroma. It gained a reddish-brown colour, aromas of exotic woods and nuts.
Store and Serve Advice:
Serving temperature at 15ºC-16ºC.
