Barros 10 Year Tawny Port is a delicate and perfumed wine, with a wonderful balance that leaves a very fresh and fruity aftertaste. It has structure, sweetness, and ripeness with the right amount of wood ageing.
Winemaking:
The grapes for Barros 10 Year Tawny Port were hand-harvest, at their best moment then destemmed, crushed and vinified in a careful maceration with the extraction of colour, tannins and pellicle aromas, complemented by permanent pumping-over during fermentation. This process takes place in vats at a controlled temperature between 28-30ºC, until reaching the desired Baumé. At this phase, brandy is added, originating a fortified wine. It maturated in wood for an average of 10 years, expressing the character of the wine in what concerns the characteristics conferred by the ageing in oak casks.

Barros 10 Year Tawny Port is on the light, fresh and fruity side of aged tawnies. It has a very good ripeness and good acidity. Signs of wood ageing are well integrated. It's fresh and smoothly textured, it is delicious.
Store and Serve Advice:
Serving temperature at 15ºC-16ºC.
Port Decanter São Pedro das Aguias 10 Years Old Tawny is a rich and intense wine, dominated by the complex aromas. It features notes from the sweet ripe red fruit flavours and several wood ageing scents such as raisins, candied orange peel, and prunes. It presents an unforgettable citric acidity.
Borges Soalheira 10 Year Old Port has a bright tawny colour. It shows the typical aromas of ageing in wood and plenty of fresh fruit notes. It's dry and sweet, with dried fruits and a lingering aftertaste.
Porto Poças 10 Year Tawny shows a wonderful bouquet of dried fruits, raisins, and good cigars. It has as well a fruity character with lots of black plum flavours well integrated into the good wood aromas. It's a full-bodied Port wine, irresistible and complex, with a long-lasting finish.
Amber with golden nuances in color. It's a dry, woody scent due to aging in hard hats. Soft tannins and flavors with good caramel, vanilla and raisins. It is an intense wine, elegant, and yet full of residual nuances to spices.
Royal Oporto 10-Year-Old Tawny Port is quite dark in colour. This Port still has plenty of good, 10-Year-Old fresh fruit flavours. Perfumed and delicate, it has a light sweetness and a good layer of fruit and wood acidity, leaving a dry aftertaste.
Conceito 10 Year Old Tawny Port has plenty of caramelized walnuts flavours mixed with cotton candy and dried fruit. It shows very good wood ageing notes, as well as spices and ripened figs unite behind to create a perfect ending.
